I am a Mental Health Counselor who believes therapy is a collaborative journey. I take a person-centered, holistic, empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to help clients work towards achieving their goals. My overall clinical approach is to help clients create meaning and find purpose in their lives. I operate from a multicultural lens and utilize a client-centered, trauma informed approach in my work. I provide a confidential, open-minded and supportive space where you feel seen, heard and understood. Through this collaborative journey we will work on setting and meeting your goals.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University in Health & Human Services and a Master of Science from SUNY College at Plattsburgh in Mental Health Counseling. I am also a national certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. I have a broad range of experience working with a wide array of clients. I specialize in working with individuals and groups and have successfully worked with college students and emerging adults for the past 5 years. My specialties include, but are not limited to life transitions, anxiety, stress, relationships, self-doubt/self-esteem, mood disorders, personality disorders, body image, family, conflict, trauma, grief and loss, identity, social justice, career transitions, intimate partner and sexual violence.

I have worked with a diverse group of people with a primary focus on underrepresented groups including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), biracial, multiracial, LGBTQIA+, immigrant and first-generation communities, international students, Muslim communities and women.
